TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS IN DEERHAVEN! PLEASE READ AND TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE POA BOARD.
You are probably aware of the brush fire last week that burned over 800 acres just south and within a few miles of Deerhaven. There have been several other brush fires in the Hill Country in the last couple of weeks.
Smith-West Fire July 17 – 20, 2018
Over the last few years, we’ve asked that you check your lots and remove dead or dry vegetation and brush. Our Covenants and Restrictions require that you do this in Paragraph #17. (Please refer to the Deerhaven website – deerhavenpoa.com for details.) You should also remember that our CONTRACT for FIRE PROTECTION WITH HORSESHOE BAY IS CONDITIONED UPON WORKING CONTINUOUSLY TO PROPERLY CLEAR OUR VACANT LOTS! Horseshoe Bay often inspects us in the fall prior to renewing our contract in NOVEMBER.
Within the next few weeks, you may receive a letter identifying your specific lot or lots and ask that they be cleared within 30 days. The POA reserves the right to clear your lot(s) and bill you for the expense. Additionally, a Notice of Violation may be filed against your property with the Llano County clerk for continued non-compliance.
For questions, please refer them to the individuals listed below.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Catherine Clanton, President Deerhaven POA Board
