IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE DEERHAVEN ADDRESS BOOK
NOTICE, The DEERHAVEN ADDRESS BOOK has been removed from the Deeerhaven Website and also the Microsoft Server. This action was taken because somehow the Address Book got picked up by the Google Web Web Crawler Search Program. This program stores the information it picks up during it's searches on the Google Server. When one does a search on the internet for a subject, item, etc the information if available on the Google server is retrieved and displayed. This means that as the content of the Deerhaven Address Book is stored on the Google Server the content of the address book is no longer protected by a password. During a Web Search on a residents' name a copy of the Deerhaven Address Book will be available for public view. There is no information in the Address Book that is not readily available from many other sources on the web as I am sure you are are all aware. However, this is not the way the Address Book was supposed to work. The Address Book will not be placed back on the Deerhaven Website until it can be made more secure and in particular protected from the Google Web Search procedure, or any other Web Search engine. I have contacted Google to try and find a resolution to this problem and get the Address Book information removed from the Web Crawler Cache. This may take some time as Google is not the easiest company to communicate with.
